Your Questions, Answered
-
Aphthous stomatitis (canker sore) is a small, painful sore that forms inside the mouth, often on the inside of the cheeks, lips, tongue, or gums. It can make everyday activities like eating, drinking, and speaking uncomfortable.
Mouth ulcers are usually harmless and heal on their own within one to two weeks, but they can be caused by factors such as stress, minor injuries, certain foods, or underlying health conditions
-
Recurrent aphthous stomatitis alone affects approximately 15–20% of the global population, making it one of the most common oral mucosal conditions.
-
OriPatch offers a more targeted and effective approach to protect and alleviate pain from mouth ulcers compared to traditional solutions. While most existing products (like gels and rinses) spread throughout the mouth and provide limited precision, OriPatch adheres directly to the ulcer, delivering relief exactly where it is needed.
Its self-dissolving, adhesive film creates a protective barrier over the wound, helping reduce pain and allowing users to eat and function more comfortably.
Developed by researchers, doctors, and dental professionals, OriPatch is designed to be a more precise, user-friendly, and clinically grounded solution for a widespread and recurring condition.
